Life is good

Carmella's Casa Italiana has partnered with Rosemary Chambers, a local Avon representative. Rosemary has agreed to include our take-out menu with the next edition of the Avon book. Rosemary and her husband, Paul, came in the restaurant yesterday afternoon. She used to come in years ago when the place was Frankie's. (OMG! If you go to http://www.yellowpages.com/ Frankie's is still listed with our address and phone number! Good Lord, is that information never updated??) Rosemary and Paul were totally impressed by the food, portions, service, ambiance, and plates. She ordered the baked ziti special, which is our signature dish! Paul ordered a 12" pepperoni pizza.

Oddly enough for a Friday, we closed the restaurant 15 minutes early. Considering this is the weekend of the full moon, we fully expected the crazies to be out and to have a wholloping good night! I was talking to one of the guys from Bruce's Taxi and he said, "Things are really dead. I don't know what is going on!" I wonder if the ring around the moon had anything to do with it.

We wrapped up the night and had energy to spare. Loretta James Band (http://lorettajamesband.com/)  was playing at The Flying Dog Cafe, so we all agreed to go. Deb knows Bruce, owner of The Flying Dog Cafe, so it's always fun to patronize area businesses.

Suzanne & Amber, the bartenders, are in the background.
If you want a better look, just go there!

And to add to the fun, Melanie Massell was also there, and at the end of the night, she surprised us and sang with the band!

How bizarre that a bad day in business turns out to be such a great day in life! Life is good.
